星地协同网络中的边缘计算技术综述

    A survey on edge computing in satellite-terrestrial networks

    • 摘要: 6G移动通信系统对延迟和网络响应能力提出了更高的要求,而边缘计算技术可降低延迟提高响应能力,并减少用户和集中式云计算资源之间的数据流量。星地协同是未来6G通信网络的发展趋势,在星地协同网络中应用边缘计算技术是重要研究方向之一。在梳理星地协同网络中的边缘计算技术研究现状的基础上,首先提出了融合移动边缘计算技术的星地协同网络的系统架构、对应用场景和逻辑功能架构等进行了总结,其次对计算卸载技术方案进行汇总和分类对比,最后归纳了未来研究将面对的技术挑战。

       

      Abstract: 6G communication systems would pose higher demands on latency and network response abilities, while the edge computing could reduce latency to improve response capabilities and reduce data traffic between users and centralized cloud computing resources. The satellite-terrestrial network is one of promising trends in the future 6G communication systems, and the embedding of edge computing into satellite-terrestrial networks turns out to be one important field. On the basis of existing works on edge computing in the satellite-terrestrial network, this survey first proposes the mobile edge computing-enabled network’s system architecture, summarizes the use cases, and logic functionality architecture, then concludes the existing computing offloading techniques, and finally presents the key challenges in the future.
