基于多模腔体的太赫兹准椭圆响应滤波器设计

    A terahertz quasi-elliptical response filter based on multi-mode resonators

    • 摘要: 随着通信技术的发展,太赫兹频段已然成为6 G通信的热点频段,对于相关器件的研究也愈加深入。文章基于易于加工的金属波导结构进行设计,以通带212 GHz~218 GHz为指标,设计了两款具有准椭圆响应的太赫兹滤波器。所设计滤波器利用TE201谐振腔引入传输零点,提升滤波器的矩形系数。该滤波器通过对腔体间耦合结构的位置与尺寸的控制,以调节耦合关系,进而调整传输零点位置,实现不同带外抑制度的带通滤波器,其具有较好的设计灵活性,且成本低廉。仿真设计结果显示,滤波器1通带为211.91 GHz~218.17 GHz,带内插入损耗小于1.38 dB,且在209.80 GHz和220.54 GHz具有两个传输零点;滤波器2通带为211.78 GHz~218.36 GHz,带内插入损耗小于1.21 dB,且在220.41 GHz和221.82 GHz具有两个传输零点,均具备较好的电气性能。

       

      Abstract: With the development of communication technology, the terahertz frequency band has become a hot spot in 6 G communication. This paper designs two terahertz filters with quasi-elliptical response based on the passband of 212 GHz~218 GHz using metal waveguides. The designed filters utilize TE201 resonant cavities to introduce transmission zeros (TZs) and improve the rectangular coefficient of the filter. By controlling the position and size of the coupling structure between resonators, the coupling relationship can be adjusted, and then the TZ position can be adjusted to achieve bandpass filters with different out-of-band suppression, which has good design flexibility and low cost. The simulation design results show that filter 1 has a passband of 211.91 GHz~218.17 GHz, an in-band insertion loss of less than 1.38 dB, and two TZs at 209.80 GHz and 220.54 GHz; filter 2 has a passband of 211.78 GHz~218.36 GHz, an in-band insertion loss of less than 1.21 dB, and two TZs at 220.41 GHz and 221.82 GHz, both of which have good electrical performance.
