手机直连卫星技术发展与展望

    Development and future prospects of direct-to-satellite technology for smartphones

    • 摘要: 卫星通信作为消除地面网络通信盲区、增强全域覆盖的核心技术,对实现6G网络无处不在的连接具有关键作用。而手机直连卫星技术正是构建6G天地一体化网络和实现万物互联的重要路径,目前正逐渐成为发展热点并引起广泛关注。分析了手机直连卫星技术的多种技术路线和若干技术挑战,并对目前主要的频率资源受限、星载天线功率重量限制与星地高动态适应性3个方面进行了分析,并给出了应对措施。针对手机直连卫星的发展趋势,提出了相关发展建议。

       

      Abstract: As a pivotal technology for eliminating terrestrial network coverage gaps and enhancing global connectivity, satellite communication plays a critical role in realizing the vision of ubiquitous 6G networks. Direct-to-Satellite technology for smartphones, in particular, serves as a vital pathway to constructing an integrated space-terrestrial network and achieving the internet of everything. This technology is rapidly emerging as a focal point of research and development, garnering widespread attention. This paper analyzes multiple technical approaches and challenges associated with direct-to-satellite implementation, with a specific focus on three critical hurdles, limited frequency resources, power and weight constraints of satellite-borne antennas, and high dynamic adaptability requirements for satellite-terrestrial links, then corresponding solutions are proposed. Furthemorre, recommendations are provided to guide the future development of direct-to-satellite technology.
