Abstract:
With the increasing demand of high throughput communication satellite system (HTS) for inter-satellite data transmission rate, the working frequency band of inter-satellite link will gradually develop from Ka frequency band to millimeter wave band with more abundant frequency resources. In order to meet the development and application requirements of the millimeter wave band automatic angle tracking system for inter-satellite links, a design scheme of V-band wideband angle tracking receiver based on single-channel monopulse-angle tracking technology is presented. LTCC and MCM technologies are used to realize the integrated design of V-band receiving components. The angle error signal demodulation of wideband input signals is completed by using a tracking modulator based on IQ orthogonal mixing and a single channel single pulse Angle error signal processing technology based on digital phase compensation. On the basis of single machine development, the test system of V-band angle tracking receiver is built. The test results show that the V-band wideband angle tracking receiver can complete the demodulation of various wideband data transmission signals within the input signal level range of -95dBm~-55dBm, and the Angle error signal jitter is better than ±250mV. AGC telemetry voltage, which represents the strength of the input signal level, increases monotonically with the increase of the input signal level. All these indicators meet the requirements of V-band inter-satellite link construction, which lays a solid technical foundation for the future development of inter-satellite link system in millimeter wave.
