Abstract
In this paper, a joint subcarrier scheduling and power control resource allocation (JSSPC-RA) algorithm is proposed for multi-beam low earth orbit (MB-LEO) satellite communication scenarios. By solving the integer-mixed non-convex optimization problem, the joint scheduling scheme of multicarrier direct-sequence code division multiple access (MC-DS-CDMA) subcarrier and subcarrier power is obtained in consideration of different communication requirements, and the unsatisfied system capacity (USC) as well as the satellite total power consumption is thereby minimized. Simulation results prove that the proposed JSSPC-RA algorithm is able to satisfy the tradeoff of USC and satellite total power consumption, and is more power-saving than the traditional average allocation strategy, which is more applicable in the MB-LEO satellite system featuring strictly-constrained communication resources.
