    AIS design and verification for ocean satellite

    • In order to meet the demand of global ship monitoring, the automatic identification system(AIS)is equipped on the HY satellites. Satellite-based AIS is faced with serious signal collisions due to the large coverage, and it is easy to be influenced by low frequency interference of satellite. AIS is required to improve the adaptability to EMC of satellite for reducing purification cost of electronic equipment of satellite and breakthrough restrictions of AIS reception in offshore. Based on the analysis of electromagnetic environment of satellite and working condition, array antenna, algorithms of anti-interference for low frequency and low SNR demodulation are put forward. In the tests of HY-2C, AIS can meet all the working patterns. It provides a good reference for the subsequent design of satellite-based AIS.
