Abstract
The multi-beam phased array antenna is a multi-beam antenna that utilizes a beamforming network to realize multiple independent high-gain beams at the same time, which is one of the primary loads of a low-earth-orbit (LEO) communication satellite system. It has the advantages of high flexibility and wide-angle scanning. The purpose of this paper is to summarize and analyze the spaceborne multi-beam phased array antenna used in LEO constellation. This paper introduces the development history, beamforming technology and key technologies of multi-beam phased array antenna in LEO constellation, and analyzes the future development trend of multibeam phased array antenna in LEO constellation, providing technical reference for future LEO satellite constellation construction.
