    A compact efficient millimeter-wave rectenna

    • In order to improve the receiver efficiency of millimeter wave wireless power transmission system. In this paper, a compact high-efficiency millimeter-wave rectenna based on slot coupling feed is designed. The rectenna is divided by nine antenna subarrays, and each subarray is converted radio frequency power separately, and then the output is integrated by direct current synthesis, which has the characteristics of small size, low profile and easy conformal. The antenna is fed with slot coupling, and the feeder line and radiation patch are respectively on both sides of the floor, which can effectively reduce the influence between the antenna and rectifier, increases the effective radiation area of the antenna. The single diode parallel topology is adopted in back-end rectifier, the sector branch is used as the pass-through filter for direct current filtering. In 35GHz operating frequency, the array gain reaches 23.4dBi, and the rectifier has a maximum efficiency of 58.65% at 17dBm input power, which can be widely used in millimeter wave wireless power transfer systems.
