    Research on tensioned cable configuration for spatial triangular prism element network mechanism based on stiffness influence coefficient optimization

    • In response to the unclear impact of tension cables on the stiffness of parabolic cylindrical antennas in spatial triangular prism unit networks, the optimization of tension cable configurations is carried out to meet the performance requirements of maintaining high stiffness after the deployment. By analyzing the characteristics of triangular prism truss, the possible arrangement of tension cables is determined. Combined with the proposed evaluation indicators, the influence of different tension cables on the dynamic characteristics of a single module antenna is analyzed, and the configuration design and optimization of tension cables are carried out. The results show that the optimized single triangular prism truss unit only contains 6 tension cables, which omits 71.4% of the quantity compared to the complete 21 tension cable configuration. It can still achieve the first-order natural frequency of antenna at 3.22 Hz, and compared to the pure rod structure, the first-order natural frequency is increased by 3.09 times, achieving a significant increase in frequency through a small number of tension cables.
