    Design and implementation of strategy optimization for multi order batch sorting method

    • With the rapid development of China's economy, the logistics industry faces unprecedented opportunities for expansion. As a critical component of logistics, warehousing plays a pivotal role. This study focuses on optimizing order-picking operations—a key process in warehousing—by proposing a multi-order batch picking method that eliminates duplicate handling, thereby reducing resource waste and enhancing efficiency. Through order batching and grouping, the warehouse management system can simultaneously execute picking tasks for multiple orders, reducing redundant operations of automated equipment and shortening the overall material handling path. Experiments demonstrate that this strategy can improve operational efficiency by up to 80% under specific conditions.
