    Review of key technologies in the Inter-Satellite link of the beidou navigation system

    • As a globally-recognized satellite navigation system independently developed by China, the Beidou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) relies on its inter-satellite link technology as the core support for global network deployment and efficient operation. This paper provides an overview of the key technologies, challenges, and innovative aspects of the Beidou inter-satellite link. It highlights how the Xi'an Institute team has made groundbreaking contributions by proposing innovative inter-satellite precise measurement and correction methods, developing core payload equipment, achieving hundred milliseconds rapid link establishment and centimeter level centimeter-level distance measurement accuracy, and reaching international leading technical standards. The paper also summarizes the significant achievements made in technical breakthroughs and application benefits.
